huqrugs are custom crafted from the finest New Zealand wool, designed in Amsterdam and handwoven in the Alps. Our exclusive floor coverings are produced to exacting specifications, guaranteeing the highest standards of craftsmanship and fair, sustainable production. Handwoven from yarn made in-house, we combine textures, like bouclé and chenille, to perfectly suit each unique design. A tight flatweave and natural jute base ensure strength, stability and long life. Wool is hypoallergenic, resists dirt, dust, flames and static, and wicks away moisture from spills. All our designs are reversible with identical front and back for use on either side. Individual rugs up to four metres wide and any length are possible. Larger pieces can be produced by combining widths. No matter the size, every huqrug is made to order, so we have no stock and zero material waste.
